a one-of-a-kind, generative art installation prototyping new methods of sensory communication

In 2019, Dashboard and tvsdesign asked a group of artists to create a “breathing” visual artwork that responds to the quality of air and sounds that surround us. What resulted was a 10,800 LED sculpture that uses occupancy sensors within SPACELAB to communicate real-time changes in temperature, humidity, and sound vibrations through light and color.
