Community is a multi-media art series that illuminates the Community Foundation for Greater Atlanta’s mission: to inspire and lead our region toward equity and shared prosperity for all.
Curated and produced by Dashboard and commissioned by the Community Foundation for Greater Atlanta, this multi-part installation located in the lobby and Yarbrough room of the Foundation celebrates the vision of a more equitable region.
The Lobby

The 20-foot lobby installation, composed of gemstones, beads, yarn and alcohol ink, celebrates what the Foundation provides everyday to their patrons and employees: enriching spaces with opportunities, education, and community for everyone.
Yarbrough room

Duality, the complimentary piece to the lobby installation composed of alcohol ink and yarn on canvas, celebrates the duality behind our work and our personal lives, and our ability to show up for our people unconditionally.
About Honey Pierre

Cassandra Hickey, also known as Honey Pierre, is an Atlanta-based artist born in Cleveland, OH. Art is ritual for Honey, ceremonially weaving media with message & reinvigorating her family portraits with spirit and emotion. She draws inspiration from community, rooting her subject matter in relationships with loved ones, mutual aid, legacy, & exchanging ancestral knowledge.
Since moving from Cleveland to Atlanta to pursue art full time, she has been apart of over 40+ art exhibits, events and non-profit activations, practicing in mediums such as murals, fiber art, collage, and traditional painting.
